Wash Day With Innersense

Having curly/natural hair requires some extra attention to retain moisture and avoid issues like dryness, breakage, frizz and tangles. Understanding my hair’s special needs, I keep it healthy, manageable and looking its best with a tailored care routine. Today, I’m giving you an inside look into the steps I take to wash my hair.

On wash day, the goal is to get my hair clean, moisturized and well-nourished. To me, Innersense is the most effective clean hair company on the market, hands down. All their products are ethically sourced, cruelty-free and made with non-GMO, minimally processed natural ingredients. As a Certified B Corp, they meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance.

Here is the routine and products I count on to prevent damage and promote healthier hair growth.

1. Wash With Pure Harmony Hair Bath

This clarifying shampoo nourishes, volumizes and strengthens fine to medium hair with quinoa, rice extracts, shea butter and coconut and avocado oils. The weightless formula has a refreshing citrus scent. I start my hair washing routine with one wash using this product to remove any product buildup.

2. Hydrate With Hydrating Cream Hairbath

Next, I do a second and third wash with Innersense’s Hydrating Cream Hairbath. This shampoo is so moisturizing that I can detangle my hair with it. It restores the cuticle, which is my hair’s protective barrier. The rich lather reverses damage from heat styling, chemical treatments and environmental stressors. A little bit goes a long way!

3. Condition With Hydrating Cream Conditioner

Using Hydrating Cream Conditioner maximizes moisture, which is ideal for dry, damaged or breakage-prone hair. Certified organic rice, quinoa and flaxseed restore hair follicles, while shea butter and coconut tame frizz and flyaway.

4. Use a Hydrating Hair Mask

For extra TLC, the Innersense’s Hydrating Hair Mask is ideal for revitalizing dry, damaged hair with shea butter, tamanu and coconut oils, flaxseed and quinoa. This product is a lifesaver if you need intense moisture to combat damage and make your hair look lustrous without weighing it down.

5. Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner

Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner is ideal for all hair types. Ingredients in this lightweight, leave-in conditioning spray include emollient oils, organic herb and flower extracts and a touch of honey. The delicate scent of lavender helps me relax and feel at ease.

I also use a shortened version of this routine for my kids’ hair, washing with the Hydrating Cream Hairbath. Innersense’s products are gentle enough for children.
